A canvas framed with a floater frame (also known as tray frames, canvas frames, and L-frames) has a very strong and clean look. Here are some projects we have recently completed using floater frames. Spacers have traditionally been used in custom picture framing to keep artwork away from the glass, or to frame three dimensional objects in shadowboxes. We recently had the opportunity to frame a few prints adding colored matboard spacers to create depth and give that little splash of color that compliments the art.
