A canvas framed with a floater frame (also known as tray frames, canvas frames, and L-frames) has a very strong and clean look. Here are some projects we have recently completed using floater frames. The canvas appears to be floating within the frame, hence the name "floater frame". Floater frames are available in a wide variety of sizes, colors, and finishes. Definitely one of our favorite looks! Contact Frameworks to frame your next canvas.
Spacers have traditionally been used in custom picture framing to keep artwork away from the glass, or to frame three dimensional objects in shadowboxes. We recently had the opportunity to frame a few prints adding colored matboard spacers to create depth and give that little splash of color that compliments the art. Matboard is available in a wide variety of colors and textures that can be used for matboard spacers. Contact us today to discuss your next framing project. Have a great day!
